Nearby Accommodation
The nearest town is Agios Nikolaos, Crete
We will in Elounda from the 5th - 12th of October, and staying at a local villa either side of the 7th - 9th at the wedding villas.
Of course everyone invited is welcome at the villas over the time we’re there!
Just in case anyone hasn’t booked their accommodation yet, here are a few suggestions:
Hotels / Apartments
We stayed here when we went to visit the venue and had a great stay. It’s all inclusive option worked out super cheap for us, with all food and drinks included. There’s a buffet you can eat at anytime and a variety of restaurants (just make sure to book them when you arrive!)
It’s around 25 minutes from Heraklion airport and approximately 1 hour from the venue.
Villas
We stayed here when we visited Elounda most recently, it was spacious, clean and a moderate price for six people. The loaction was great, around a 10 minute drive to Elounda and a little further to the villas.
It’s also only a 10 minute drive to Agios Nikolaos, which was a lovely town to explore.
The only downside is that the pool wasn’t heated, but that shouldn’t be a problem when we’re there!
We found this as a cheaper local option. The apartments are a 3 minute drive from the wedding villas and a similar drive into Elounda town.
This seems to be a good find - not too expensive and a 10 minute walk into town. It’s also only a few minutes drive to the villas.

Elounda Infinity Exclusive Resort & Spa
This hotel is also a 3 minute drive from the villas, and again not far from the bars/ restaurants in Elounda.
It’s and adults only luxury resort with great reviews, but of course is considerably more expensive.
Elounda Water Park Residence Hotel
This hotel is priced somewhere in between, with a waterpark on site. It’s an 8 minute drive to the villas and a 5 minute drive into Elounda town.
This is close to Villa Maris, in between Elounda and Agios Nikolaos (but closer to Elounda). The area is beautiful.
